 I am Ankit Gupta from India, a second-year undergraduate pursuing my Btech in Computer Science and Engineering.

First of all, I would like to congratulate all the contributors who have made it into GSoC this time. This is my first time contributing to such a big organization as Wikimedia. I am super excited to work this summer with you all.

As part of my this year's GSoC project, I will be working on the Edit Request Wizard. This project aims at creating a step-by-step form to help beginners submit a Wikipedia edit request. An edit request is a request for someone to change some text in an article. Edit requests are an important part of Wikipedia. The form created in this project will help the edit requests comply with Wikipedia policy. It will be developed as a Wikipedia user script that shows a form for submitting a Wikipedia edit request, with high-quality guidance and error messages, suitable for use by beginners, and a backend server that the user script will make calls to for validation of source and quote to comply with the reliable resources policy.

Lastly, I would like to thank all the community members, org admins, and mentors for giving me such a big opportunity and believing in me. I am super excited and thrilled to be working this summer on this project. Looking forward for a highly productive summer and a great learning experience with you all...!!!
